Howdy doo, peeps of the interweb! Today, I present to you a Banana Cinnamon Mocha Shake that is reminiscent of birthday cake- with hints of coffee, my latest addiction. I know it has been forever and a day since I last posted, but I pinky promise I am doing my best to post more regularly. *Insert lengthy eye roll here*. Yes, I am fully aware of the fact that I said the exact same thing on my last post, and yes, I am also highly aware of the fact that I did not make that happen. But fear not, foodies of the blog-o-sphere: this time, I am determined.
Between school, work, modeling, and teaching yoga, I am one über busy bee (bzzzzzz). I like it that way, but at the same time, I wish I had some time to relax, unwind, flow on my yoga mat, and sit on my couch, eating spoonfuls of almond butter out of the jar. Side note: the previously spoken of schenario has actually been a lifelong dream of mine. One day, worker bee, one day.
On to more important matters, such as: this SMOOTHIE. Oh BABY. This bad boy is downright delectable. I could eat it for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Actually, I am pretty sure I did that one day last week. The body wants what it wants, dammit.Growing up, I was never really a coffee fan. Actually, I quite hated the stuff. I am already bouncing off the walls sans caffeine, so coffee was never really my jam. I found it just made me extra hyper, jittery, and gave me an extra racy heart, almost as if i was running a marathon. Not very conducive to staying calm and getting things done, I think.
However, on my last birthday (2 months ago), that all changed. A friend of mine took me to a nifty little coffee shop downtown, where I ordered an Americano. Boy oh BOY. That thing was SO tasty!! Thus, my love affair with coffee began. You can now catch me sipping a mug a day. All or nothing, people! Well, I have nothing cool to say, save for the fact that school is in full swing, and my best friend and I are going to see Bleachers next week in concert (if you do not know who they are, I am afraid we cannot be friends).Other than that, get your hot booty in the kitchen, jive to the jams, and get to blending! Happy Sunday Funday!
